Think of someone you love

Have some fun and make a card for someone you love! Our example is in celebrating Mother’s Day, but you can customize the craft for any loved one! Simply grab a piece of paper and color and decorate away! Color with crayons, markers, paint, pens or anything else you have around the house. Use glue to help decorate the card - you can even glue on items from the kitchen/house like sprinkles or noodles!

The worksheet below is provided so the student can copy “Happy Mother’s Day” to help them with spelling if they need it. They can also cut out the words and glue to their card if they’d like.

Tips:

-Make a sample card for your child to copy if spelling is challenging

-Make lines on the card to guide your child’s writing for proper alignment

-Have your child either write or tell you 5 things they love about mom!
